Common Questions
Do I also need ScreenHarbor Host?
Yes. Install the host on the Mac you want to control and this client on the Mac you are using.
Can I connect over the internet?
ScreenHarbor does not provide a public relay. Put both Macs on a private network you control, such as Tailscale, then connect normally.
Why is the download not notarized?
The direct-download channel uses ad-hoc signing and is not Apple-notarized. For a release marked Live, verify its checksum and source manifest, use the documented macOS first-launch approval, or build from source.
Is terminal access automatic?
No. Terminal access is an explicit host capability and should remain disabled unless you need it for that trusted session.
