Are my recordings or generated audio sent to the cloud?

No. Voice synthesis and cloning run on your device. Network access is used only when you choose to browse or download models and for purchase services, not to upload recordings or generated audio for inference.

Do I need an account?

No app account is required. A Hugging Face token is optional and is needed only if you choose to access gated or private models.

Which models are supported?

The app supports compatible open-source text-to-speech and voice-cloning models that can run with Apple MLX. Very large models may require a high-memory iPad.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes, after a compatible model has been downloaded. Browsing or downloading models and checking or restoring purchases requires a network connection.

Why is generation slow or my device warm?

Voice synthesis is computationally intensive. Speed depends on the model, audio length, available memory, and device temperature. Smaller models and shorter clips are faster.
