Does Bell Link require an account?

No. Bell Link is a BYOK client. You connect the providers you choose and keep the app accountless.

Where do prompts and API keys go?

Requests are sent directly from your Mac to the provider and model you select. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain; Bell Link does not operate a chat proxy or prompt-storage backend.

Which macOS version is required?

Bell Link requires macOS 15 or later.

Why does macOS warn when I first open the download?

The direct-download build is ad-hoc signed rather than notarized with a paid Developer ID. On first launch, right-click Bell Link, choose Open, and confirm once in Gatekeeper.
